Gorgeous Green Grass (AFTER)

Here was the result 31 days later from my previous post on April 18 when I took the before picture to mark the end of prepping the soil and ending with a heart I raked into the soil before I spread the seeds which yielded this gorgeous green grass. I credit this success to good soil to start that just needed a lot of raking to aerate it, a ton of Scott’s grass seeds and then a delicate balance of plenty of water, but not too much, and never during the heat of the day (that will just burn the delicate seeds as they start to sprout). Early am or late afternoon is ideal watering time.
