Gorgeous Green Grass (BEFORE)

This lawn needed some TLC (and Scott’s grass seeds!) and blood, sweat & a few tears. Started with a spot hand removal of all the weeds I could get my hands on & remove along with the roots. Next came a lot of raking to remove as much of the dead roots and other weeds I could and help break up the soil and aerate it in preparation for planting seeds. This heart marked the end of all my prep work and I was ready to spread seeds (Scotts grass seeds) and then water morning & night to start, then every couple of days…. raking to remove all the weeds & dead roots, etc. followed by a lot of hoeing
